I do the above at first, improvement for sure but only seems to work the first time from flash. Then when the engine is on temp, switch off engine, put on ignition fully but do not start and press the throttle fully and release 20 times (in like 15s) and start engine. Throttle becomes lightning like half the time, not sure why not always, but a great feeling 10min after a reflesh. Even if it was successful , it dumbs down again in the next drives, if I notice it being lazy again to the degree it annoys me, I just pull over (or at the lights when I know I've got the time) and do the throttle thing (just waiting 20s x2 doesn't seem to work then), it usually works but not always. Must be doing something differently or it's related to another parameter (ECT?)?
YMMV Would really love to hear the definitive 'recipe' |

Should only take about 30 mins of driving in my experience. Are you sure you didn't hit the throttle while the engine started right after flashing? You typically have to give it a minute to idle or you mess up the throttle response. Otherwise, reflash the tune you want (no need to go stock first) then turn on ignition (no start) hit gas 20 times in quick succession, turn off ignition, turn on again (no start), hit gas 20 times again, then start ignition. |

I thought i was imagining things but now i'm fairly certain my logs are missing some data. I drove around for a good hour to three different locations and did a WOT along the way, but that WOT is not showing up at all. All my files are updated, template is on 7.1.
http://datazap.me/u/tracerit/drive-a...0&data=2-10-13 I left the log recording from when i left home and back. I stopped at three locations, but according to the dip in oil temp right in the middle of the log, it only logged one stop. |

ah, that's right. so it seems the recording may actually stop after 20 minutes, but there is no indication that it has stopped as the blinking disk icon keeps on blinking.

Can someone make a video of how to adjust the Cold Start quieter? I've done extensive research on the forums about this already and have an idea what to do, but am afraid that if I screw something up... my car would be [insert something terrible/ "bricked ecu"].

Anybody know the difference between the 2.063 and the 1.59 OTS tunes? Like aggressive timing etc? I'm aware the 2.063 is specifically for NA, which is why i'm running that currently. Just curious if anybody has compared them in romraider

1.x or 2.x tunes are same the ie not more agressive , just more updates revions and more refined. Best to run the latest revision ie 2.06x, the 2.06x tunes are also based on the later revision factory roms , just make sure you use the matching definition files if your editing tunes .
