Not sure if serious or sarcastic.

This is pretty neat and I can't wait to see the final outcome. My only concern is heatsoak. Care to comment?

Their will be a heat rejection material applied to the bottom of the intake manifold.

I come from a platform that only has aluminum intake manifolds, while being boosted, with a large lack of intercooling (mk2 MR2 Turbo). The air moving through the intake manifold is much quicker then a lot of people think. When the air is moving quickly through the intake manifold (WOT), it won't absorb much of the heat that is in the intake manifold.

Will the car produce less power with 10 degrees hotter inlet charge? Maybe 2 hp...

TLDR; Precautions will be taken to reject as much heat as possible. Overall, we are not too concerned with heat soak but testing will prove what really is happening.

IMO, it does look pretty gaudy compared to even the stock manifold, but hey.. function over form when it comes to such a critical piece of equipment as they say

Already looked into the intake cooling, and the only way to get a decent amount of cooling would be to add a refridgerant system (which is heavy) then adding a turbo on top of that for the density of the air. Too much weight, not enough gains to be had for the work required.

Damn.

Thanks for answering! Do you foresee this manifold working with aftermarket CAI's? Just wondering...
