I have the same can, but can't figure out how to undo the clear tube to drain it. How do you release the tube?

Push the blue plastic piece into the black plastic housing then pull the clear tube out.

Cusco Catch Can Question

Hi everyone, first time to post on this forum. I just bought this catch can for my 86. Any news on how much oil you were able to collect from it, @Supermassive?

How were the lines installed? Does the line from the PCV connect to the top or the bottom? Because I've been looking around and I saw this diagram which would seem like the air flows in from the bottom and exits the top part.

I poured out about a 1/4 of a cup of oil last time i emptied it. As for my routing....well I didn't follow the instructions, but the lines connect PCV to bottom inlet. The idea is to allow the air to flow through the collector while oil which is heavier than air attached to the mesh in the can. The crappy thing about this kit is that the clear lines turn brown pretty quickly due to the vapor.

I'd really like a diagram of where the hoses go. I have the straight up catch can (horizontal) on right now and am putting the separator on tonight. Which hose does the PCV run to and which runs back into the intake tube where the PCV originally ran? Or am I doing it wrong?
