There's only a handful of tires in 235/40...which I've always found odd. Oh wow, way cheaper than the original RE-11 in 235/45 as well.

215/45/17 is only $147!! Holy crap that's cheap. I really was going Z2 until this now I'm not sure which to use for DD and AutoX

I just pulled the trigger on a set today. I should get them within a week. I'll post some photos once I get them in @Hanakuso .

Just bought Bridgestone Pole Position S-04's yesterday. I'm not an AutoX'er or Tracker but probably have 100,000 miles on curvy NC backroads. The effect on the FR-S was instantly noticeable. A heavier feel that reminded me of a Porsche Cayman, very responsive to any contour, dip etc. in the road that reminded me of a Lotus Elise. You have to pay better attention when you swith from the Primacy to these but that's okay with me. Of course, as expected, the rear end doesn't swing out as easily but that's also okay with me. They look awesome. The price is good on these. Very pleased so far but no rain or long term wear feedback.
Get rid of those Primacy's ASAP!!!! It's a noticeable change. Last edited by subota; 08-07-2013 at 05:02 PM. Reason: typos |
