The windshield strip on our cars is useless. The AS1 line on the car seems to be about an inch tall.

Licensed installers won't go below the AS1 because it is illegal, at least not unless you pay cash and get no paperwork.

Installers in Cali will do whatever you want. I think the law specify's something like 4" at the widest part.

Maybe the laws are different there. In FL illegal tint can get the installer in trouble so they won't give you any paperwork if you want to get it darker, below the AS1 or even the whole front windshield done.

I figured. Here in Cali, the installers aren't responsible. That's how we roll in the Cali. You can go to any petstore and by ferret food, even though they're illegal in Cali.

I've been trying to find a location near me in south florida that do Formula One Pinnacle tint, any know of any locations?

Check out the Llumar Air Blue 80 for the windshield. Almost invisible tint with badass heat rejection. Kind of pricey but definitely worth it on a dark car in a hot place that needs to be legal.
