The prototype was built based on a Subaru Legacy. I'm pretty sure we're not driving modified Legacy's, are we? Either way, the prototype was still a Subaru which pretty much nullifies the point you were trying to make.

Subaru here, its built in their factory with their employees,...I do have a few Toyota aftermarket parts on it though, one of which I don't like to much , the port and direct fuel injection,....you can keep that economy crap.
