A little bit of the wires will be exposed as it's excess wire so you can adjust the mirror's angle.
Most cars with autodimming/homelink will have some wires poking out just like our cars; it's normal.

The wire is visible and it is hard to hide.

you can always fashion up a slightly larger cylinder to hide the excess cabling in tho I'm not sure it would be worth the trouble

That's weird... I don't recall mine having a white wire in that strand... I will double check tomorrow.

Yeah, now I am just waiting for 1100 refund of this insurance policy a bought called vehicle armor..

back when I bought the car in June, they sold me on it as they said it would repair cosmetic damage to your wheels, replace keys, door dings etc. So driving in Richmond, I knew some guy was going to door ding me for sure, and thought hey why not.

so in Oct, I get curbage of a wheel due to a stupid construction site area, go to claim at Richmond Subaru and then they go, ohhh there is no policy set up for you, we didnt PAY the insurance company the money yet.. I wait 3 weeks and we are into Nov, ok its paid.. But guess what it's not covered anymore! (at the point of purchasing the plan I specifically said will it cover wheel curbage, and they said yes, blatantly misrepresenting the product) . You would think they would check first if my damage qualified or not first, and meanwhile they have had my 1100 dollars for the past 5 months! So I decide to cancel, and get a refund.

I still do not have the refund to this date. The insurance company needs to refund subaru, and then subaru refunds me. Apparently Subaru got the refund at the end of DEC, and its now FEB soon and I am awaiting a check from Subaru Richmond, that has had to go to accounting and head office for approval, seriously wtf..The last time I talked to the business manager, he said the Cheque should be at the dealership this past Friday.

This makes me really want to switch dealerships for servicing, but then I will lose out on the lifetime oil change, you think if I phone don docksteaders and see if they can match it, ill go to them for servicing instead? Also what should I do about my 1100 they have had since June? Complain to the Better Business Bureau? I kinda asked for discounted parts when STI products are here, but the manager just said ill talk to the parts people when you want to order something.

Sorry guys for the long Rant, its just been really annoying!

Good for Jeremy! Though I'm still skeptical about going in for any dealership service in Richmond in general (no offense to Richmonders).

They're all known to have bad reputation because most owners don't care about their cars since they're so darn rich.

Unfortunately, Don Docksteader does not have such service with their oil change... I even asked about a "life-time" oil change package and how much it would cost... No such thing.
Was just curious though... 'Cause I'm probably going to do my own PM services anyways...

Are you honestly gonna trust those junkies at Richmond Subaru with your car? I'd honestly go somewhere else even if I have to pay. I wouldn't feel comfortable having my car serviced there.
