That looks horrible! T-Top or removable hard top before I did that... But I'm fine just like mine it. Although convertible with roll cage and wind guard like the Mercedes coupes... might not look bad. Not sure though.

"Stick head out the window"... i thought only dogs do that.

That doesn't mean its a good idea... Looks like they cut right through the major stiffening agents in the roof.

As said above I think T-tops is about the best you could do without totally re engineering the car.

I would love a targa top in it, but that's about as far as I would be willing to go. I really loved my '83 Z-28 with the "Simon and Simon" targa top. Poor thing ended its life when it was rear-ended, pushed into a trash truck and literally folded up about 6 inches underneath where those roof supports should have been. I still toy with buying one and taking the torch to it.

Yea, anything you do to that is going to need some serious re-engineering if you care about the car's performance. If you don't, well hack at your own risk.

In full disclosure I should say I've never cared for sunroofs anyway. I own two cars (bought used) with them now (an Accord and a Suburban) and we never use it in either. They just seem like a "tease" to me, none of the true open road experience with all the annoyances.
