Enkei RPF1 17x9 +45 with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 255 40 R17 & Moto-spec RS*R Sports-i

Since this forum, particularly the guide posts, were so much help to me in making my wheel and tire decisions, I thought it only fair that I post up my setup in return now that I have just today installed the wheels and tires.

As for the setup, the subject line says it all but just in case:
Enkei RPF1 17x9 +45
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 255 40 R17
Moto-spec RS*R Sports-i

It's looking good (and the early driving is great, even with brand new tires on this chilly day) but only time will tell what kind of rub I'm in for aside from the tiny full-lock rub I noticed. This year's AutoX will be the real test of the rub issue, I'm sure. In any case, on with the pictures!

Meaty!!! I like! I've been thinking of running 255 square setup aswell. If the only thing is fender liner rubbing at full lock then that can be managed with a bit of trimming.

I was planning on going 245 originally, but with star specs so hard to find these days (due to the Z1->Z2 transition, I suppose) and 245 basically impossible to find I ended up going with 255. We'll see how that turns out as the year gets going. I suppose that once the Z2s are more widely available I could always switch out and sell lightly used 255s to someone else if necessary.

Yeah I'm leaning towards 245's but I'm going with a 9.5" wheel so it'll be a little stretched. There's some guys here running that size with no issues but haven't seen it with 255's. don't know if I want to risk it.

That's a lot of tire! Are you running stock struts up front?

Looks amazing, thanks for the pictures. I still can't make up my mind between these and the Mach V Awesome.
