Didn't wanna make a new thread so I'll just share some insights here.

Just getting used to the friction point now. The clutch is so light!

Its a lot more rattly and chattery than my old A/T that's for sure... but not 100% assured its all normal noises at the moment but definitely gives it a more race car feel... MT owners please assure me that chatteryness is normal? Yes this is my first MT car.

Its still a beauty and turning heads everywhere. Had a few bogans try and make me do skids at a no through road... that was a bit scary.

Looking forward to tomorrows drive.
have only driven the MT when I did my test drive but remember the exhaust has that 'boxer' sound and it is 'piped' inside for you to enjoy!! Has the Dealer done the pre delivery? I assume so before it was shipped to you

Only induction noise is piped in, not exhaust. I just put in my TRD red tube today as well. Its not induction noise. My A/T 86 had the induction noise as well :P

It's like a more chattery noise when in gear but after reading a few threads on here I'm inclined to think its all quite normal.

EDIT; yes, dealer did all PD checks except detailing and removing the plastics.

I'm slowly getting used to it. Getting the feeling of it. My mini before this was much harder its odd.
My first few hill starts at traffic lights where nerve racking that's for sure... Didn't want to over rev or stall ><.

Glad it's not only me! Every new car I have picked up always seems I find a hill somewhere in the first 10km and get a red light!! Stall? I think I did every time

TMCA said last week I should know the ship's name by early this week - built 26/12

Oh, mind posting a couple of pics/brief write up?

I picked mine up a couple of days ago. The most curious thing I found about it was how unwilling it is to start rolling backwards when in reverse. Really need to feed it revs to get it going, even when compared with my girlfriend's Mazda 2! That said, I'm not complaining - I didn't buy the car for reverse gear!

I'm in the same boat as you (bad pun not really intended)
Mine has been delayed again to the 11th as well.

Here you go

It's quite easy if you stick ur head in the footwell with your feet in the air

From my experience, a shorter open end wrench will be useful for retightening the 12mm nut as its quite cramped in that area for our RHD vehicles.

Also, go through the thread as there are some pics and even a video which helps a bit.
