Mine's fine after a few miles, but those first few miles suck. Won't shift into 1st at a 4mph roll off my driveway, won't downshift to 2nd from 3rd...occasional grind shifting into 2nd.

Yeah I get this too. I either upshift early into 2nd (under 2k rpm) or I double-clutch the shift. Fine once warm though. When the weather gets warmer, I'll try replacing my transmission fluid and see if that helps.

I'm doing clutch and new tranny fluids here really soon, before the weather gets so cold it won't shift into first at all or something stupid like that. lol

I'm looking at a set of used WRX 16inchers to get some snow tires on, they'll clear the brakes on these cars right?

Absolutely. Any 5x100 modern Subaru wheel will fit.

You're probably the only one. Stupid 5x100 hubs...

Why on Earth couldn't they grab some 5x114.3 hubs out of the STI parts bin? Coulda had forged BBS wheels - in gold! - for $600.

Yeah 5x114.3 definitely has a lot more options, I got a bunch of friends with STIs and would have been able to rock some of their wheels if we got that, so either way I woulda been happy.

To be completely honest most the wheels I had for the VW I would never put on the BRZ, like my Porsche twists (with hub adapters) that are 18x8.5 and 18x10 with around 53 offset. I was happy to be able to throw some winter tires on my factory vw wheels and use them as winter wheels though.

little dirty, but whatever.

Okay cool, a guy has a set on craigslist on the cheap and I though I might pick them up if they're decent and will fit.

Yep same here. My M3 did the same thing so I didn't really even notice it until I read this.
