^ well said. I am also thinking of selling the s2k CR and have the BRZ to do it all - daily, auto-x, and track.

Just sold my S2000 for that reason.

I love my FRS but the S2000 was a much better car in terms of performance and refinement. FRS interior is poo compared tot he S2000. This is understandable:

FRS $25 000
S2000 $ $48 000

Keeping my NSX, FRS is now the daily.

im not sure the frs has any more heritage than the s2000

Speaking of dyno charts, here's an AP1 S2000 and 86 on the same dyno, courtesy of Supersprint. The 86 has more low-end grunt, putting out much more torque as low as 2400 rpm. The S2000 crushes the 86 at the top-end, putting out 40 hp more by 8400 rpm:

The FRS is faster than the S2k at most tracks once you equalize the tires and put on a good set of coilovers; you can put coilovers on the s2k too, and it's still slower.

^ Have you driven another comparable s2k & compared the times? I don't see how it can possibly be faster given the equal mods and same weight.

When you say FRS, you mean both the FRS and BRZ, right?

Just to add... whether or not the 86 is faster than an s2k, I think it's pretty amazing that it's as fast as it is (given that it only came out half a yr ago).

Now let's talk reliability....

Stock vs stock

Tein SRC vs Tein SRC

Alignment vs alignment.

The car is greater than the sum of its parts, or what you see on paper. For example, the aerodynamics, and chassis rigidity. Or, the chassis communication.

Out of context!

But the Cd has been published! 0.38 vs 0.27.

Additionally, the s2k makes substantial rear lift....
