LOL by the way be careful when ejecting the SD card... I let my finger slip and the spring shot the SD card out past me and landed behind the driver's seat near the rail. Thankfully it was just my spare card and not the factory Navi card, if it were that one I would have been swearing.

Is it possible to just load the picture onto the Nav SD card and edit the start-up without having to use a separate SD card? Or will that image screw with the Nav programs?

Not possible apparently. Don't mess with the factory card.

Collected a few goofy ones yesterday; feel free to use 'em if you like. Make sure to open the image in a new tab so you save it at its actual res.
Interestingly enough, the 400 x 234 quoted in the manual isn't correct. Not sure then what the exact res is, but 1920 x 1080 looks fine so that's what I'm sticking with.

I keep forgetting to do this. I need to find a picture that I like though first! So many choices!
