Haven't noticed it on mine, #2143. We've had some pretty strong storms here in NY lately so either I've been lucky so far, or this problem isn't manifesting for me.

I see you're in NY, which dealer was this? I'd rather not deal with service folks that don't have any common sense. My local Subaru Dealer is Metric over in Huntington on Long Island - its a small operation but they seem pretty decent.

Firestorm FR-S It's only on the passenger side. This side also has an uneven flush from trunk to fender. |

For those who are curious, one taillight and 2 other misc items that are "part of the taillight" is around $320ish.
Anyway for those who have gotten their taillight changed, has the condensation problem gone away? has it come back? |

My vin is in the 3xx range IIRC. Dealer ordered a new set of tails for me. Will be getting it replaced shortly.

God dammit... yep - I've been hit with this issue on the passenger side.
Going to get it replaced next Thursday, but this is just absurd to be running into this kinda problem when I haven't even hit 4K miles yet |

I had the same issue on my BRZ after the first week. The dealer replaced it, but it took 2 weeks for them to get the parts. The issue has not returned since and its been about 3 weeks.

I got a call from the service department saying that the Tail Lights vented. Are these tail lights actually vented? Cuz that's what the Subaru Headquarters told them.

If they're saying that the taillights are vented and it is normal for them to have condensation, then they're so wrong.

I was told that the condensation problem was caused by over tightening the nuts that hold the taillamp assembly to the body. The over tightening causes the sealer to pinch and squeeze out and results in a poor seal between the body and the taillamp. My passenger side was having the same problem took some pics to document it but it was gone away for now. I have been told there is a solution in the works more than anything "revised" instructions is what I have heard.
