Sounds like you didn't get the car idle after flashing,.

If you flash start and take off the CAMS will be off.

Other than that the pedal / throttle response has not changed one bit.

Not even a little bit

You can send me a data log if you want.

John

Do I need to reflash it? Is this fixable? It was never mentioned in the instructions to idle it...

Thanks to John for looking over the logs (even though I logged it wrong the first few times )

I just needed to let the car idle for a bit and the cams are back to normal, and the throttle response is back to what it used to be.

Btw, the car accelerates better according to my butt dyno

+1 for cable and no tune. Just filled the form out though, so I'm guessing it will take a bit.

Cheers

I just got done reflashing my BRZ with the updated Stage 1 map. The reflashing process is easy when you use the tutorial. The program threw a stupid error code for me, but I was able just to re-start the "Program ECU" function and it went fine. Thanks again for your help John!

Before I turned in for the night I wanted to do a test run on the highway. The torque dip in the new map seems further improved, as in there seemed to be more torque between 3000 and 4000 rpm, and the top end power still feels great if not better. No issues whatsoever, just an addiction for more power and an increased risk of leadfoot.

Now, I test out the upgraded pump gas tune and wait patiently until I turn back up on John's list for my E-85 tune.

Also: Datalogging function and realtime data monitoring is freakin sweet.

Yeah no kidding. I actually read every single post in the stg1 thread and the group buy thread and it was driving me nuts how lazy some people were about finding the information they were looking for in the same thread even on the same page.

Also a lot of haters when the price was originally anounced, then the first review of it came out and it died down real quick. Haha it's pretty damn funny actually if it weren't for the million repetitive questions.

But it worked out for me I got a lot of the info straightened out once or twice or maybe a dozen times lol now I just gotta get paid and get my order complete. Psyched to get this tune on and once the e85 goes flex fuel get that too, cuz I live by a e85 station but they are few and far between so I don't want to reflash every time. The racerom stuff is just icing on the cake too for my track days.

Hey John,

Is Friday still good to contact you about the remaining balance (using two cards to make the final payment). If not please let me know so I can let you tune without being interrupted.

Thanks,

Gregory Gawaran

Ahh, thanks.

Hey @Visconti - I'm still on 1.02. What has changed since then?
