Got the winter wheel/tyre setup ready:

A little ahead of the season, but everything I'd ordered came in sooner then expected, so at least it's all sitting here at the shop ready to swap as soon as the weather turns.

Nice! I just ordered a set of Terras in 16x7+35 in bronze for my winter setup. I’d have preferred white, but they were out of stock.

Yeah stocks are still off this year. I'd ordered the silver version, but none were available, not even on the backorder list. The supplier got gold and black for their 2023 shipment and that's it.

Gold would have been my second preference (though it is a bit… predictable… for a World Rally Blue Pearl Subaru) but JRP only had bronze and black in the 16x7. Meh, I think it will look OK. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Spent the morning yesterday at a shop getting two lug studs replaced. Snapped one on each rear wheel while prepping for an autox event. Needless to say, I wasn't able to compete.

I don't have the tools or really the know how to replace them, so now the hunt is on for a shop that will allow me to bring in ARP studs or will get the parts and do it themselves. All my local places won't allow you to bring your own parts.

Nice camber, but why so much front toe? Recommendation is zero toe in front, and I even prefer a smidge of toe out.

No reason, just needed the car aligned asap so I could drive it. It's a weekend car that mainly only sees highway anyway, so I wasn't too specific about the alignment.

May go in and dial out the zero with a buddy when we've got time, but she drives fine as is!

I cut a big hole in my hood on Saturday and drove to work today. I designed and 3D printed a replica of the GR Cup hood vent, super cool having parts of my own design on my car!

Yesterday, not today... but finally got to track the BRZ for the first time.

It was soaking wet all day, and I was really rusty... but fun was had.

Installed the Jackson Racing Dual Cooler and deleted the factory heat exchanger. I was able to use one of the stock heat exchanger hoses to bypass between the two nipples that fed the stock heat exchanger, it was just long enough to not kink, haha.

Love that Perrin CAI.

I thought about getting one, but I just can't see myself taking the whole bumper off every 3 months to clean my filter.
