Random thought: Sous Vide is the ultimate cooking method for lazy people who don't actually want to be in the kitchen.
I started screwing around with sous vide in the middle of may completely inspired by the youtube channel "sous vide everything" with some guy who looks like he has way too much fun feeding his family. The science of cooking under vacuum also enticed me. But what really got me? I HATE cooking and love doing anything else. Sous vide is the method of cooking that allows this but also allows your food to be perfectly cooked to perfect temps. It sounded too good to be true but now I'm in love.     You can cook things in the sous vide bath AND forget about it LOL. Last night I was supposed to cook the chicken breast at 149* for 1 hour and I was busy with a cigar and youtube so and hour and 40 minutes it was. Still cooked to perfection.
