Looks good. How was the application of the Adams spray coating?
A little over a week ago I did a full machine polish and applied Gyeon Pure Evo to mine. Great experience and it looks fantastic. |

How did you like the clay mitt? I have seen them around but never was brave enough to try one.

+1 on the synthetic clay, i like the griots pad style ones but they're much nicer to use than traditional.

The mother's speedclay was a garbage product in my experience anyway. I wouldnt mind trying one of the towels though.

I like the Blackfire Clay Mitt. Picked it up on sale a while back.
For a well maintained car it's great, but if I was working on something that's been neglected for a while, I'd go with a quality clay bar instead. |

I hope to avoid having to do anything that resembles work when it comes to maintaining the exterior. Before my new car was exposed to the weather, I applied some of Meguires spray on stuff and I will refresh it from time to time. I don't get to obsessed with it, but so far road grime does not stick and more importantly, it does not get a chance to get abrasive on the paint. Some of my buddies get busy with all sorts of fancy cleaners and preparations, but when I watched the clay bar routine, my blood ran cold with the thought of doing anything but kicking back in the shade with a cold brew in hand. Until recently, I had a boat that I bought new in 1988. From day one I used a Meguires One-Step cleaner and wax keeping up with a regular routine. The fiberglass gelcoat always looked like new and hard water minerals never became a problem. That and paying attention to the teakwood, I never had to do any serious work using any of the hard-core products Meguires had to address aging and oxidation. I guess a good analogy would be regular brushing and flossing so the dental hygienist does not have to get the jackhammer out to get the plaque off your teeth.

Sweet! Looks clean and correct. Phenomenal.
Any pics with those wheels with stock ride height? I have those exact wheels and tires but 17x8. Last edited by autosenses; 07-28-2022 at 04:40 PM. |
