Good idea, it would definitely be distracting. I dig the badges but yeah I always wondered about the steering wheel, obviously less visible but would bug me.

I don't I'll ever get the GT86 steering wheel or airbag. But I am trying to get a stock FR-S airbag because I fucked mine up. It's the only thing I need.

I like how any mod to a car is considered rice. Better not put any Toyota badges on there because JDM is rice. Just sayin'

I could be wrong but ricing out a car is loosely defined as doing any mod to a car that is non-stock-looking.

Like if someone were to put 8000k HID headlights, thats rice because it's so obviously not stock. But if someone did 4700-5000k HID's then that would not be rice.

Or if someone gets their rims painted gloss black, that may not be considered rice but if someone plastidips them or paints them some crazy neon color or white, that's rice.

I could be wrong, and my thinking was loosely defined. So take what I just said with a grain of salt. And maybe a beer

@Synack - You never said rice. Other guy did. Just gets old hearing everybody's opinion of rice. If you could combine all the comments made about what is rice and what is not you would be left with a completely stock vehicle as the only non ricetastic ride out there. I think putting stickers on cars is ricey but I let it be because some like that and may think it's not rice just brand promotion as an example.

Yeah I know, I was just randomly thinking out loud in a post of what I assumed rice was. I try to stay as far away from it as I can.

Hmm...it is pretty subjective. But I think there are some less-tasteful mods, like blacking out headlights, taillights, cheap ground effects etc. not necessarily things that aren't stock. Granted smoked head/taillights are worse than painting the housing but personally not a good look for me. Otherwise turbos, coilovers and all that would be rice. Definitely not. But yeah definitely subjective.
