True. Only your statement seemed to imply that that's all it could handle... which is not necessarily the case here. If that was not your implication, then my mistake.

Right? Those Spec Miata guys are obviously really slow drivers.

Fluid, pads, ducting and the stock brakes will be absolutely fine for 98% of the people who go to the track.

Wait aren't you the guy that tried to "gotcha" by trying to compare iron rotors to carbon ceramic?

I linked him video to T4 guys racing on slicks in the first gen, who have to run stock calipers, he still doesn’t buy it. You have to remember he is a PTC driving instructor. Supposedly.

Ohhhhh so now it's fluid, pads, AND ducting.....before it was just fluid and pads.

I guess the video posted where Subaru engineers put high temp fluid and and brake fade still exists.....they must have put the wrong fluid in right? Cause you know....better brake pads create less heat and dont boil fluid....errrrrr.... something like that. Lol

Awwww, look kids. He's trying to be sarcastic. I would respond, but when I point out all the ways he is wrong he will say "See that's what I meant."

Lol okay old sport.

You're the one (and others) that said previously it's just pads and fluid. Now you've added ducting to your rhetoric.

It's okay though- I understand moving the goal post is critical in winning the internet.

Okay old sport.

Keep comparing iron rotors to carbon/carbon brakes. JFC you're hilarious.

Step right up! Step right up!

Put those big brake companies OUT OF BUSINESS!

One simple trick will make you stop like a pro....just buy the old SnuffBox pads and change your fluid to Okie fluid....that's all you need and you'll be crossin the finish line first time, every time.

Maybe add some cooling ducts too.

Finally some talk that makes sense!

16-time national champion John Heinracy took this advice and has won many races on stock calipers. No cooling ducts either!
