havent had much in the way of rattles. one crazy one that happened twice. i think it was either the glovebox door or my ipod and the door together. i also have a random squeak/squeal that happens on the freeway. no idea where its coming from...may even be something outside the car.

I think you've all got it wrong, its not the car its the squeals and squeaks from amazed and shocked onlookers

How were you able to remove the black plastic rivets (the ones that hold the foam down) from the plastic clip holders without destroying the foam? They seemed pretty solidly lodged in there.

Sorry, took me so long to answer - I pry it with hands, it comes off pretty easy. Don't use flat screw drivers - you'll leave markers.

I was getting a pretty bad rattle, seemingly from around the center console on rough roads between 35-50 mph. In frustration, I opened the glove compartment door, and noticed the rattle got quieter. Then I took out the glove compartment contents one by one. When I took out the padded binder containing all the manuals and paperwork, the rattle completely disappeared, but it reappeared immediately when I put the binder back in the glove compartment and shut the glove box. Looks like the weight of of the binder changes the way the glove box makes contact with its surrounding parts, just enough to make the car sound like a rattle trap. Without the padded service manual binder in the glove box, there is no rattling, even going over bumps.

It's been getting worse with every day, hopefully tomorrow I can take a look and try some of the tips.

Have you or anyone else figured this out? I believe I have the same "pop/click" sound. It's not a "rattle" sound. It only started about a week ago. I have the car for 7 weeks.

Anyone notice a rattle on the shifter just below the collar? It's just behind the boot, and it seems to happen only at a higher rpm. It's really quite annoying.

For the last week or so I've heard a high-pitched squeak coming from the back of the car. Pretty annoying as it sounds like a smoke detector when the battery is running low!!!

Anyone else hearing something similar?

Is the noise a quick tick/click? Or is it more like squeak/beep(smoke detector) long? Does is sound different with the rear seats up vs down?

I'm hearing an occasional squeak driving down the road. I'm not sure, but I think it may be coming from the front suspension. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Sounds like a squeak/beep (smoke detector). Haven't had the rear seats down so it's when they are up. To be honest it's really difficult to try and pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from.

I see. We probably have different noise then. Mine is more like tick/click noise.
