Anyone changed out ECU Chip yet?

Has anyone changed out the ECU yet?
If so what kind of performance did you see?
I have contacted a couple of companies that
say they have them for the car but they wouldn't
give me any details on the performance side.

I think those companies you were talking to are full of it. There's no "chip" available for these cars that I've heard of.

Are you talking about flashing the stock ecu or going full stand alone? I get the feeling that you don't know what your asking...

I wanted to purchase a stand alone chip. The other option would to get a programer but I don't want to do that. I thought if someone had something available that could increase the HP a bit I would give it a shot.

People usually run standalone ecus when their cars are so heavily modified that a flashed stock ecu is no longer an option. You will rarely see a standalone on a street car, it's more of a real race car thing.

I think you are looking for a flash. Search for ecutek options here.

You should read up on the tuning options for this car before going out to buy a "chip". There are many people in this sub-forum that already have posts about their tuning options and are far more trustworthy than random Internet "chip-swapping guaranteed-HP" vendors.
