Post up your best 0 to 60 time

Here is mine so far...full tank of gas no tire warm up, full tire pressure @ 40 psi and I could have ran my rpm's up some more before, I shifted at 7,300 rpm I set my fuel cut off at 7,950 rpm per OFT.

0 - xx mph times are not that useful, because it depends on how you lunch the car and you might have wheel spin . A more meaningful timing would be 20 - 60 mph in 2nd gear ...

also what you use to measure it, as most phone apps are inaccurate. also doesn't account for slope. need dragy to do verified runs.

And the BRZ is anything but a 0-60 car.

These cars are tricky to launch and your times will be all over the place. My best runs were done with some wheelspin and were under 6 seconds.

With an auto, full bolt ons, about 120lbs weight reduction, full drag reduction aero, 92octane 4.56fd, cold 225 A/S tires, 2300rpm launch. Using dragy did a verified 6.6sec (6.4 w/ 1ft roll out) 0-60.

W/ exact same setup as above but with IC sprintex 210 on 72mm pulley and WMI but only 700rpm(idle) launch did a 5.1sec (4.9 w/ 1ft roll out)

Since then I’ve switched to 69mm pulley, 4.3FD, os giken lsd, stage 2 valve body, 255 tire, suspension, lightweight bucket seats, light weight wilwood BBK. But haven’t had time or cared to do more 0-60 since. Still don’t have traction to launch above idle anyways, so probably 4.8-4.9 (4.6-4.7 1ft) now. But 40-120 is what i care about more anyways.

Also if it isn't taken from a drag strip slip, a vbox, or dragy. It don’t count. Phone apps and OBDII are all inaccurate. And Easy to go down hill for faster time.

Why don't count? They count as much as max whp/wtq from different dynos w/o baseline . Same level of credibility.

Lol was just messing around nothing serious...some of you guys take things way to seriously lol...and yeah it was a GPS timer. Its been pretty consistent recording, I am not running a supercharger or anything all N/A with just a tune. Before the car consistently hit 7.4 now with the OFT tune and a little weight loss shaving of nearly a full second...I was happy about that some will disagree at how I measured my time and thats fine.. I just know it definitely improved my car with little work. Peace out brothers stay safe stay home.

Because inaccurate and or easy to falsify. And yeah comparing different cars dyno runs is pretty pointless without a baseline to at least compare percentage increases.

Now using same form of measuring in exact same scenario to record personal improvements from modifications is fine. But comparing to others times is pointless unless you can create a pretty accurate and fair standard in which to measure and perform the test.

I don't think it has anything to do with being elitist. I think most people on this forum don't care about 0-60. It's not that type of car. I could easily log 0-60 on my Solo, but why bother The only numbers that interest me from that data are my lap times, and lateral G's.

Truth is many on here don’t really care about any numbers, the only number that counts is smiles/cost and this car does it very well.
