Otherwise you’re looking at about 4-500$ just on labor swapping in ring and pinion if you’re pulling assembly yourself. Now if you can DIY everything thats a different story.

Got it. I saw a ring pinion on the 3.9 for ebay at like $150. Might get that, send it to wpc for treatment, get the bearings like you said and swap them over. I don't mind paying for the extra labor
