Yes.

Get serious! It leaked out the bottom, not the slicing area on top.

Are you sure?

I've often wondered why some slices of roast beef have that blueish-green sheen to them, especially as they age -

You don't need a keyboard to post... I haven't used a keyboard for this site in at least 6 months.

Well, I packed the bags and boxes of Christmas stuff down to the basement today.

How the Christmas tree has changed in our household over the years. When mrs humfrz and I were putting our families together, I wanted a "real" tree, so me and my sons threw an ax in the back of our pickup and went out in the woods and cut down a tree. We put the tree up in our family room.

The soon to be mrs humfrz and her daughter, opened up a box with an artificial tree in it and put it up in the living room.

Over the years I gave in to the plastic tree, but things have gotten out of control. We now have three, yes 3, plastic trees in the basement. The first one was too small, so it wouldn't "work" anymore. The second ones lights kept burning out and she couldn't figure out how to get the strands plugged in together.

Why didn't I help her? As my oldest boy told her the Christmas before we were married, "you better watch out for dad when he gets around Christmas trees - he gets crazy". So she never has ask me to help -

Now, the NEW plastic tree she bought this year, has pre strung LED light strands that are guaranteed for two years. Also, she bought a "cover", like a big plastic bag, to store it in while it's in the basement. Why a cover for a plastic tree stored in a basement? -

All I do know is that it's like the line from the CW song, "you can't stop a woman when she's out of control" -

THE END OF MY CHRISTMAS TREE STORY

Between 0yo and about 10yo we (mum, dad, me) used to visit my grandparents (mum's side). Their place was a place of magic: I would decorate the Christmas tree and Santa would visit, my grandfather would make woodworking creations in the shed , grandma's Sunday roasts cooked with lard of course, the smell of coal gas, the lights through curtains at night.

Sometime after grandpa passed away grandma left that house and moved to a town where mum's sister was living. Grandma loved it there as she had a daughter near by who was close at hand. I only visited her a couple of times there but all the things I knew from the old house wasn't quite right. The mantle clock, which played Westminster chimes, was there but it wasn't where it belonged. In fact, nothing in the new place belonged there, including my grandma. They all should have been in the old place.

All the magic had gone.

So you have a device that reads your mind and types what you are thinking of; cool. Just be careful what you think

I used to duck hunt years ago with my wife's cousin. Nice guy. He would chew a box of nicotine gum in like an hour. He moved to Tahoe and I didn't see him for like a year. When I saw him next, he was smoking. He said, " at least I gave up the gum! "
