all this should be fixed in the 2nd iteration

it needs a proper radio with wheel volume and phone functions

it needs a proper driver information panel

even cheap Korean hatchbacks have a comprehensive LCD display that shows BASIC information available on cars 10yrs ago

stuff like basic 'distance to empty'

Just the blind spot. Those little $3 mirrors will look tacky but will save me $ preventing a crash.

What I love about the car... everything else. Even the cheap looking dash piece just because they put so much thought into carrying that pattern through the car. It's in the instrument cluster, sun visors, climate controls, and it's what the pattern in the grill is. LOVE IT!

I have been dealing with this as well and I think I finally isolated it today. Mine was coming from the panel where you can adjust the dimness of the dash. Once I pressed it in the rattle seemed to stop... it blew my mind that the panel had that much "flex" for a new car. It was honestly so flimsy that I was able to push it in without even pressing too hard.

I'm planning on taking it back to the dealership, as I didn't drop $28K on a car to have it rattle like this. Super disappointed.... just straight up garbage build quality.

Are you planning on going back to the dealership as well?

its a sports car dude, expect many, MANY, more. my almost 40k evo rattles like a bag of soda cans

Disagree with you.

When you buy a brand new car, it's not normal to have a huge rattle at under 2K miles.

Yep.. it is actually.

Prior to the FR-S, I had a 2003 Camry with 150K miles that never had any interior rattle.

It's kinda crazy how my 2013 Scion FR-S with <2K miles has a huge rattle issue.

You can get rid of blind spots by correctly positioning your side view mirrors. Turn the mirrors out so that they're just past the point where you can see part of your car in the mirror. Tada, no blind spots!

Try cleaning the inside rear window. You are sitting in the cramped back seat with a bad angle and the brake light get in the way.
