Ah that sucks. Hopefully you hadn't gone far out of your way when you found out.

Keep looking you will find the right one.
And consider looking at “dealerships” like Carvana that will provide a national search. My FR-S came from California, and the transportation cost wasn’t bad. It helps to expand your search for a FR-S or BRZ.

Ah, I forgot about carvana. I mean I was looking at the options carvana had locally but they are all somewhat overpriced. But yeah I might hold off a while longer to save up some more money.

If you are going to get a 2015+, just save a bit more and get a 2017+. 2017 brought some worthwhile revisions to the design by my understanding.
Good advice. I REALLY wish I would've done that.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to have one transported with the color and options of your choice, but make sure you test drive one and make sure it's what you want. Being unhappy with the car you bought is bad, but being $15,000+ in debt for lack of research is a bit worse.

Yeah that would be terrible. But I’m pretty sure I like the car and how it drives. I test drove one the other day and oh my they are nice.

That’s a great point, you want to make sure it’s the car you really want, and it sounds like it is! As long as you’ve test driven one you will have a good idea of what to expect.

Great handling (can’t be said enough), stiff ride, not much torque, and lots of smiles. The twins in my opinion are sort of in a class by themselves, there are elements of cars like the S2000, Lotus Elise, and of course the AE86. A directness that really doesn’t exist anymore. The Miata is softer, and doesn’t work for taller folks. Good luck and you will find the one eventually. I personally had better luck finding the FR-S I wanted than a BRZ. I love both, but there aren’t as many BRZ’s out there in general.

Yeah that is what I am staring to notice. I have started to expand my search to the FRS. I found on in town that I am looking at tomorrow. 2015 with 35,000 miles.

I think that’s a good idea, and there are low mileage ones out there. 35,000 miles for a 2015 is pretty low. A lot of these probably aren’t daily driven. Except for us crazy people on here. But really it’s a fun car to daily drive.

I prefer the styling of the FR-S, and I like the old school Japanese sports car vibe of the interior. The BRZ has the Performance Package though.

Yeah the more I look at the FRS o think I like it more. The only thing that turned me away from it was it being a scion. But I’ll just have to change the badges if I get an FRS.
