Definitely hot and humid lol but that shouldn't make a $30,000+ car fall apart, or any car for that matter. Bad luck maybe

Weird.
Can you tell if there is double sided tape all the way along the top of the skirt like there is supposed to be, or is this one little spot the only thing holding it on? Almost looks like there isn't enough tape, or maybe it wasn't positioned correctly on the part and never fully contacted the car to begin with. https://stis.subaru.com/proxy/77289/...r2013MYBRZ.pdf See page 6. IIRC all TS and other STI aero products are installed at the dealerships so it's entirely possible they screwed up when putting it on. In any case take this to your dealership and get it fixed. It's a new car, you have a full warranty, use it! |

Don’t use screws.
Shitty install. There is double sided tape, they did not clean the area correct or at all prior to installation. I would get it fixed under warranty. If they can not get good quality tape they can replace the kit with new. |

You shouldn't have to drill at all for a BRZ's sideskirts. There are holes on the underside of the rocker panels with coated plugs that you pop out, and then the sideskirts have new hardware that pops in to hold the sideskirts on, plus the doublesided tape.

I do like the shape of the ones for the '17 and '18 that are being sold through FT86SF better, but they're only available with carbon fiber and don't have an all-leather option...yet. |

A while back someone looked into this and it requires a new clockspring (MY2017+) as that has a different harness for the controls, and the old and new airbag are different sizes so you would need an entirely new steering wheel assembly to do this. |

But there's also buttons for the menu in the dash to the right of the speedo which would require the new dash as well for that to work. Anyone tried this swap yet? |
