The last pic with the Nissan is cool!
The rest are pretty good too, but that 1 just looks good.

Awesome fun at Red Star Raceway today with my mates!!
Enjoyed playing the fool, and testing my new wheels and tyres. I guessed 50/50 that they would rub in the wheelarches, and I'm thrilled that they don't. But only just - ha-ha!! Next is new swaybars (which will be here soon) which should help address the obvious body roll problem. I want to remain with the stock suspension which is great, and I want to keep the soft'ish ride, just limit roll. My normal wheels are 17x7.5 ET35 shod with 225/45R17 Bridgestone RE11S The new wheels are 17x8.5 ET30 with 255/40R17 Bridgestone RE11S It was my first outing this year with clockwise rotation, which was awesome, but I battled with rear-end grip despite the bigger tyres. The back end was frustrated with me driving so slow, and kept wanting to overtake me I found the car very loose. Maybe the track was slippery - not sure. Despite that, and the unfamiliar rotation, I got a new personal best of 2m15.8, albeit only 0.3 sec quicker I'll take it.

As usual very good driving, Fish Eagle! How did the new wheels and tyres feel?
Your video reminded me how long its feels since I drove clockwise around here. I have almost forgotten how to do it... I am going to take Friday 20th July off and go to Redstar to practice this direction for the Michelin Cup. I am determined to try and break 2:20.000 in this direction |

The track was cold and slippery though, and the car was very loose despite more rubber. The trick for a good laptime clockwise is to focus on the 3 corners leading into the straights. The most important is the one into the long main straight - you need to be on the gas early, before the apex, and build speed out of the corner. Next is the corner into the midfield straight - also need to be on the gas early, and build speed by running wide along the outside edge of the tar. Needs bravery. And finally, the zig-zag onto the pit straight - rather brake a bit earlier to allow you to get your speed right and get the car nicely balanced. I recommend stay in 3rd, and hold foot flat all the way through the zig-zag. That corner's all about carrying momentum, not making noise and wheelspin. Enjoy, and see you on the 29th. I'm going to push to get into the 2m14's

Some photos from Boxer Fest 2018 at Red Star Raceway on 29 Sept.
Great fun, but sad in a way that the big guns were battling it out doing gymkhana stuff on the skidpan to qualify for Gymkhana Grid 2018. I missed having Wayne, Chett, Carl and Mark on the racetrack. There's no bigger incentive to push harder than being passed, and I never got passed once on Saturday... Nice to see Clare Vale giving it horns in her BRZ!! She was making more smoke than anyone else that I saw Hoping that @Gregore and the other 86's that were there also share their pics. The first pic is my favourite - it's my first "tripod" photo!! Lots of event photos can be seen here - https://www.facebook.com/pg/BeamProd...44682858885658

Wow, this forum has really died.
What a pity... Anyway, here's some pics from the recent Boxer Fest event at Red Star Raceway.
