If your not seeing load limit tables in romraider is because the definition doesnt reference those tables. All tables are in all roms, its just the definitions that index into the rom may not have some tables defined.

If you need stock roms do to the tactrix info link in signiture below it has most of the stock roms at end of post.

"You will need to open def in text editor for auto or manual as required and edit the calid string to your particular rom id like B01C or B01D as all V4 tunes are based on A01G or A01I roms now for 2012-2016 cars"

download the OFT V4 Manual 2012-2016 base is A01G.zip

he attached on the first post, open it with text editor, first rows there is:
<roms>
<rom base="32BITBASE">
<romid>
<xmlid>ZA1JA01G</xmlid>
<internalidaddress>8000</internalidaddress>
<internalidstring>ZA1JA01G</internalidstring>

<transmission>MT</transmission>
<memmodel>SH7058</memmodel>
<flashmethod>subarucan</flashmethod>
<filesize>1280kb</filesize>
</romid>

change ZA1JA01G to your CalID

Guys I wish I had the time to read through all the thread, I tried and the talk gets way too technical and just confuses me. I know basically how to load a tune and that’s it. I’m on V3.xx tune on my MT 2017. I just want to know if V4 is better and how or for that matter is it not better?

Thanks.

Just wanted to come here to mention how much I love the quiet start on these tunes. Couldn’t be happier with my choice to grab a tablet finally

So let’s pretend I’m a moron (not huge stretch in this case) and you need to explain to me what I need to do to load V4 tunes. I know I have to download the file and load it up. But then I read you have to “change” something prior to install - I think. I have a 2017 so what ,if anything, do I need to do to update my V3 tune?

Read every page of this thread and finally convinced myself to pull the plug. Installed V4 Stage 2+ on my MY17 AT BRZ the other day and never looking back, completely woke the car up. Definitely recommended for anyone who’s on the fence.

Just in case you didn't know, you can flip the screen display. I would be worried about extra stress on the cord with that setup.
