Not as much, it’s been going away as the car breaks in. I rarely hear it now.

I am not sure if the sticker is on all the 86/BRZs, but in other countries some trim levels had an open diff. It looks that the plug is a way to differentiate which oil spec you need:

5) I've been lurking on here since 2009. I've owned two AE86's and was really excited about the next incarnation of the hachi. I've autoxed locally for years, but it's been years since I've autoxed. I chose the tS because it's limited and looks great imo, but more importantly, I think it's very well positioned for Street or STX because of all the factory upgrades, including aero. Of course, this assumes that the tS stays in the same class as other 86/BRZ's, which I fully expect. Probably the first thing I'll do with this car is take it to Evo autox school. The last time I was there it was still McKamey.

odd I was under the impression that because our cars dont have a clutch type LSD any 75-90 gear oil would work, oh well, thank you for your input

So I definitely have been lusting after the ZC6/ZN6 platform since I've first found out about it in 2013 and seeing them around. In January 2018, I decided i'm going to buy a BRZ, a Limited with PP. Went on to check the closest dealer, and there she was, the White BRZ tS and a black BRZ tS. After checking other dealerships, I returned to the first one and pulled the trigger, of course not a Limited like I had planned, but a tS.

I am new to driving manual transmissions, so I do have to get comfortable and used to it fast. I will learn how to track and, eventually it will be modded for time-attack as well as velocity(think Wangan Midnight). Also I do plan on making a custom body kit for it as well, so well see how that goes once I tackle it.

5) I first saw an 86 back in 16" it was the FRS blacked out with green painted brakes. It looked beautiful! luckily for me a coworker who had pcs'd owned it so i was able to mire it closely. Got sent overseas and saved every single possible dollar i could to get a 2018 86 or BRZ depending on colors around me. Then i found out about the tS in Feb.... i was in love haha i looked up everything i could for it (i had some time to kill when not at work... wasn't much else to do) but it was like trying to read in a different language i had no clue what anything meant [ I can change my tire tho ] but i didn't care when i found out there was only 500 of em, i could always learn later. Forward to April and i look around my area for the tS... 7 of em are around me!! just blue and white tho.... by the time i came back to the states on the 29th first thing i did was check inventories and only 2 left -->WRBP... i was devastated they where both 2 hours away. I had only been back for 2 days i haven't even unpacked yet xD and drove out to see it in person on the 2nd. Immediately loved it i didnt want to get out of the car haha. came back saturday and left with it.

Here is what some of you might not like.

I just started learning manual on the 30th with a 5.0 Mustang. I didn't do bad getting to first gear i didn't stall till my 5th time. forward 3 more hours of practice and having my car now i can drive it but i'm a slow shifter as i have to think about all the steps in my head. But i don't care it's MY car and altho im afraid while doing it im not afraid to learn and am determined to learn.

That being said i have no plans for the car but maybe an exhaust after im much more comfortable driving it. Prob window tint in a week or so.

sorry for rambling. But that's my super noob story. Still gotta figure out how to post images.

I started learning manual in my friend's miata a week before I bought the tS, I even had him drive it home from the dealership to avoid wear during the break in period. Fast forward a few weeks and now I'm shifting just fine.

The best thing you you can do is drive it as often as you can, and remember that the clutch is a wear item.

It's easier to do from a desktop, but if you click "Go Advanced" there will be an option near the bottom that says "Manage Attachments".

Yeah i had the guy with the 5.0 drive it back he was having a blast lol. People are assholes here and ride my ass everywhere it terrifies me being on an incline. Also people are impatient with my slow shifting hahaha but ill get better eventually.

Have you enabled the hill start assist yet? It's not enabled by default. My friend and I wish we had known that when we were driving it out of Seattle haha

No not yet. On our 2 hour drive back i read the whole manual while i was riding Bi@#h. It was confusing just reading it and doesn't say how effective it is. Ive peeled out on hills from panic.

5) I just bought the car the other day and will need to drive it for sometime before i figure out what mods I'd like to do with it. I had a 2014 that went through the wringer after I did some unnecessary mods. I will be avoiding the same mistake with this car.
