Is the new two piece kit the performance equivalent of the old one piece but significantly cheaper?

That's correct but the two piece does not receive the strakes currently. It's something we're looking into doing in the future.

Hi in regards to these side splitters. Once installed, can the jack stands still be placed on the pinch welds? Looking at the design, it seems as though if the vertical piece is installed, you won't be able to but if just the side splitter is installed, looks like you may be able to

I don't. It's definitely not a good idea. There's not enough clearance.

Directly behind the pinch welds where you would have placed the jack stands, there are little "bumps" in the floor pan that are actually the perfect size for jack stand teeth. I lower the car onto those, carefully.

I've had the car up in the air many many times since installing the splitters, it's a bit of a PITA but once you get used to it, it's fine.
