[Update]

Thanks again to BirdTRD! Couldn't have been a nicer guy, and his car is a legitimate street weapon. I was so pleasantly surprised at the entire setup having never driven an auto FRS/BRZ let alone anything supercharged before. Cool car, cool dude, perfect day for a drive!

Bonus - No one got carjacked! :P

Lol I'd be waayyyy too sketched out to let random strangers drive my car. Simply because I know there's so many people out there who genuinely don't give a damn about anybody or anything but themselves.

Props to the guy that offered though. Definitely very nice of him.

There's a very short list of people that I'd even consider to let drive my Forester. The BRZ? There's a list of maybe 2 people I'd trust to drive the car. And neither of them are family.

Honestly, very few people have driven my car (4 years and my wife hasn't even driven it!). I'm pretty skeptical in general but I'm also a good judge of character (management days). Mature, clean cut, intelligent guy whose GTI looked like it was well taken care of. We had a great conversation about this platform and others in general while I was driving and it was then I knew there would be no issue at all letting him take the wheel. Stand up guy and I wish him luck in whatever platform he does end up buying...he's really doing his homework!

It's like fucking on the first date.

You gotta buy me dinner at least once and go for a scenic drive in tandem so I can judge if you're not going to wreck me, almost like having an std printout.

On the other hand, if I recognize you from an autox, we're at an event and I'm not trying to save my tires, here's the keys. Kinda like a swingers club, I've seen you in action, you'll be gentle dropping the clutch and drifting the course.

My bro in law from the west coast was out here visiting MD and I let him drive mine in an autocross at BWI. I just said "try to not hit the curbs." I knew he'd pay if he broke anything. The car is too slow to get into serious trouble! Hahahah, don't hate me, I let lots of people drive it because it's fun to drive amd I want them to be happy.

I had a Camaro SS rental car with a 7.something liter engine. That was nuts and I wouldn't let anyone drive it if it was mine since it is a rolling killer with all that crazy power.

Cheers!
