Meh. Last night I drove alongside a hot lava FRS/86 with matte black emblems. Thought maybe they'd be more of an enthusiast driver. They didn't acknowledge me the 5 or so times we passed each other.

Meanwhile a few miles down the road the driver of a clean 2010 or so Civic coupe with supercharger and stuff gave me a nod and wave.

(shrug)

It's possible they didn't wave because your car is stock and boring?

I get waves back from twins fairly often. It doesn't matter if it's a BRZ or FRS they are the same car. Hell..I had one FRS guy the other day pull up beside me while were doing like 40 mph and he's asking me "what do I have done to my car?"...and were chatting it up, as we're driving down the road lolllll

Edit: Now that I think about it, that's not the first time that's happened either. But I do live in a large capital city and probably see twins more often than most do.

Never got waves in modded FRS
Have gotten waves and several times comments from people in FRS/BRZ when driving stock looking WRX

The closest thing to waves I get in the FRS are the random jailbait or Milf saying "nice car" at stoplights

Speaking of stock and boring, I make a conscious effort to ignore heavily modified twins. When people trash their cars up with giant wings, body kits, silly stickers on the windows, ridiculous camber and other poor decisions, it's only because they're screaming for attention. I deny them that.

According to post #4, you should also shun all the red frs86brz drivers.

I have to be honest.......

I don't really care that much if I pass someone driving the same car as me.

I may or may not wave, and most of the time if I don't, it's because it would have been an awkward wave, or didn't see them in time. The not seeing a wave in time happens more frequently from both wrx and twins.......I pay more attention to the road and my surroundings rather than a hand gesture in someone else's car.

Since I drive a Lightning Red BRZ, I guess I can't wave at my reflection in glass buildings any more.
