Heres the address; 500 The Marketplace, San Ramon, CA 94583
Meetup time; 6:46am Sunday May 7th.
Caravan leaves at 7am SHARP.
Is there like zero parking even around 8am? Was thinking of going but from San Jose it would probably take an hour and I wouldn't want to leave before 7 at the earliest.

The lot will be very full. You'll have to park at the far end of the lot but no guarantees there will be space.

Agreed. We do the meetup at the starbucks before hand because it gets us there early enough to park all the cars together

Unfortunately I'm working on the East coast so I won't be able to make it. I'll have to go hard park my Elantra GT rental car somewhere.

At that time I would enter off of Blackhawk Rd and just find a place to park at that end of the shopping center instead of trying to come in the normal entrance near the museum off Camino Tassajara. You'll probably end up parked with a bunch of non-cars and coffee cars but it's not that big a deal. I completely forgot about this back in February and showed up around 9:15 to see a movie at the theater and had no issue finding parking. Turnout might be better now because of better weather but I think you'll be fine.

Last month I got there at 8:30 and parking was insane. People were double parked at the farthest reaches of every parking lot, and I saw people parking behind the supermarket that's behind the main blackhawk plaza. Lots of people circling the lots and trying to navigate it was a pain. Just an FYI. I assume it'll only get worse as the weather gets nicer.

Is there an 86 area? Just pulled in to see everyone. Mine is super dirty so I'm off by myself.

There was and there wasn't haha. Rolled through twice and saw a few people, all the while to be pointed in some far away direction. Even followed 2 other 86s around only to not see a group of FRS/BRZs. So three of us exited the parking lot, they went in their direction down Crow Canyon, I went mine.

Yeah. I just walked around and enjoyed the show. Few cool 86s, but didn't see the owners. Crow/Norris Canyons in and out. Good morning for me, boss.

Hopefully I'll be able to meet up next month.

What a roller coaster of a day...

Met up with Trevor and Jenna's families as well as some forum members this morning to caravan into Cars & Coffee. The event was a great mix of cars and I ended up talking to this old man about his beautiful Bel Air. Here are some photos I snapped:

After leaving C&C, I witnessed an unfortunate accident on 680S. A Porsche 993 I saw at C&C was involved in a massive crash with a Mercedes SUV. I didn't know there was an accident until everyone started merging to the right shoulder. Here's the video from my dashcam:

Passing the wreck, everyone appeared OK. A mother, father and their little daughter were in the black Mercedes and I watched as the father carried his daughter to safety on the shoulder. She was sobbing uncontrollably but appeared physically OK.

As I passed the wreckage, bits glass, plastic and pieces of their lives were scattered across the highway. The family's pram was sitting in the middle of the highway. I was shocked at just how much damage the Mercedes SUV suffered. Every airbag deployed and the passenger A-pillar was caved in. It's amazing that the cars involved held up as well as they did.

Witnessing the accident shook me. If I had left Cars & Coffee a few minutes earlier, I may have been involved in the wreck. I felt for the little girl who will never forget the memory of sitting on the side of the highway sobbing, staring at her parent's car that was now reduced to rubble.

Crazy. Looks like your dashcam didn't catch the impact, but I wonder what caused the roof and A-pillars to get so damaged. Must've been a super violent accident.

That is scary.

Sorry to hijack but can you reccomend a cheap dash cam guys. I almost hit a cyclist who was head on in my lane on a blind turn. I feel the need to be able to protect myself from being blamed for someone else driving over the double yellow, but I want to be cheap.

Information below;

Address for Starbucks(Caravan): 500 Market Pl, San Ramon, CA 94583
Time: 7:00am (we would like to leave around 7:10am)
Show: 4018 Blackhawk Plaza Cir, Danville, CA 94506
Show starts at 8:00am but parking fills up very fast.
8:00am - 10:00am.

If you dont see this building it is not the correct one. It shares the same parking lot as a CVS and Nob Hill. If you do not see either one of these places you are at the wrong place. Please see directions below.

Directions;
If driving on 680 take Bollinger Canyon Road Exit.

Going north on 680, take Bollinger Canyon Rd Exit then turn right, on to bollinger canyon rd.

Going south on 680, take bollinger canyon rd exit then turn left, on to bollinger canyon rd. You will go over the freeway.

Once on Bollinger Canyon Rd. go straight until you reach Alcosta Blvd. Turn right on to Alcosta.

Going down Alcosta your first light will be Market Pl. Turn Right on to Market Pl. and then take your first right into the parking lot.

Starbucks will be on your left once you enter the parking lot.

We would like people to be there at 7:00am. I will be there around 6:45-6:50am to get coffee. If anyone else would like to show up at that time please feel free! I would like to leave around 7:10 to leave for the show. Parking can get really rough there and it fills up FAST. I have also attached the route we will be taking to Blackhawk.

Let me know if there's any questions.

Going to try and make it. I'll aim to get there around 6:45am for coffee as well.
