245/45 will work up front, even with maxed out SPC camber bolts with 1.3" drop springs. That was with 17X9 +35 wheels tho

Edit edit: I was on rsr super down lowering springs on stock struts and I didn't rub even on harsh compressions. 1.3 lower in the front & 1.7 in the rear. You'll have to fine tune your camber tho, cause it's damn close

Will staggered 57 xtremes 18x8.5 +33 w/ 255/35/18, 18x9.5 +40 w/ 265/35/18 going on RCE yellow springs and stock everything else work? I have coilovers atm, but they're popping/clunking (disassembled with no luck) & too harsh of a ride. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

How about stock w/ no suspension mods? That's the real question, I got 2 weeks to figure it out before my wheels and tires come in! Should've done this before buying.

Hey guys, would 17x8.5 +48 with 215/50/17 tires fit? I've seen some people run 17x9 +42 with 245 tires and they barely fit, so I was wondering if I would need a small spacer. Thanks!

At stock height you should have more than enough clearance. Only place I was close to rubbing was inner fender lining in the rear and spring perch in the front. If you're body is higher only thing I can think of is outside of the rear tire rubbing the fender edge at the top center because of the offset and width. But even then a small bit of camber should get you away from it.

Just got my wheels, tires going on in a couple of days. Rear will be 18x9.5 +40 wrapped in 255/35R18. The front is where my question comes in. The front wheels are 18x8.5 +35. Should I be using 225/40R18 or 235/40R18? Will 225 be stretched? I only ask because the tire shop here quoted me about $75 more per tire for the 235s. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Guys I really need some help on the offset or size on;

Work Meister S1 3P

front: 18x8.5 +37 R disk (45mm lip)
rear: 18x9.5 +37 O disk (83mm lip)

not sure what offset I need to get it flush without poke, tucking, or camber
I'm trying to match my TE37SL Black Editions which were 18x8.5+35 front, 18x9.5+40 rear

Check out tyrestretch.com and all your questions will be answered about how much stretch or how little. 👌🏾

18x9.5 +45 Enkei Kojin front and rear.

Lowered about 1" all around on RCE T2s. Camber -2.4 F -1.9 R.

Will I be able to fit 265/35/18s square, or should I go with a 255 all around? From looking around, it seems like 265s will work without rubbing, except up front at full lock maybe. Anyone have experience with this offset/tire size setup?

I guess you were happy with the TE37SL fittment?

If so, the Work Meister Setup you've posted above will differ from the TE37SL fittment as follows:

Front -> Work wheels will be 2mm more "inside"
Rear -> Work wheels will be 3mm more "outside"

So nothing wrong with the figures you've posted with the work meister wheels. If you did like the TE37SL fittment, you will like the Work fittment (I doubt you will notice the 2-3mm difference once their are mounted)

hope this helps. Cheers

Doing the math, a 8.5" +48 is the same as a 9" +42 wheel (from a fitting point of view) -> boring calculations at the bottom of this post if you're interessted.
So if a 9"+42 works, a 8.5" +48 will work aswell. Its pretty damn close to the inner struits however. Also, I hope you're aware that a 215 tire on 8.5" wheel will generate a light stretch.

Boring calculations -> Only read if you're not sleepy:
8.5" wheel compared to 9" is 0.5" difference = 12.6ish mm.
Take half of that (as the wide will gain 50% on the inside, and 50% on the outside) and you have 6.3mm
Offset is always in mm. 42 offset is further "outside" than a 48 offset.
Now, if a 9" +42 wheel fits, an 8.5" +42 is 6.3mm less on the "inside", so a 8.5 +42 wheel would have 6.3mm more clearance than a 9" +42. Now your 8.5" is a +48 not a +42, so you have to substract the 6mm in offset difference, which eats up what you've "gained" in the calculation before. so you're pretty much ending at the same spot. (well, you got 0.3mm more clearance:-)

Hey guys my car is stock but I eventually want to change the suspension and then look into forced induction. I need help with figuring out which offset wheels to get for my application.
I want to get some Enkei RPF1's but they come with two different offsets.
RPF1's: 17 x 9 +35 or +45
The tire size I am looking at is 245/40.
If I get the larger offset version does that mean I will need spacers to keep it flush?
I would like to avoid getting spacers.
I like to push the car and I am planning to track it so I will be looking to lower the car 1" for now and more in the future. I don't think I will be getting a BBK but would like to avoid any hassle if I do choose to go that route.

Any insight would be appreciated

Will a 265/35/18 fit up front on a 18x9.5 +45 wheel (with coilovers)? I'm only lowered about an inch - will I have issues or should I pull the trigger on a set of 265 MPSS? Thanks!

Its an odd setup, so I dont know. However, my best guess from what I've seen/read so far is that it will rub on the inside/inner fender.
But again, thats just a guess.
