I have the Scosche Magic Mount. Works great, no extension required either.

Edit: Just realized the picture on the left is of my old mount, which ended up breaking. The magic mount is on the right. Same location used for mounting. The magic mount works a let better. Very strong magnet.

I used a Scosche air vent mount. It's magnetic so you put the flat magnet piece on the back of the OFT and voila

I do have a another question? Someone said to get the cord with the power off option? My oft turns off with the car! Is this not good enough? Seems to me if it's off then it's not drawing any power?

It still draws a little bit of power off the battery, and if left for a long period of time, can cause your battery to die. I just unplug/plug in my OFT every time I get in/out of the car, unless I know I'm going to be quick. But I always unplug it and store it in the glove box while I am at work, or overnight, etc.
