Why not an Optima battery while you were at it?

When you store the car over the winter months you forget just how engaging this car is to drive. Man am I having fun again. Is there interest in me organizing a couple of decent cruises this summer? Seems the core group is still around just nobody driving the bus. Let me know.

No worries, Chad's BBQ did not go to waste for the few of us there. Lots of leftovers for the dogs too. Epic dine and dash tour days or even short runs to scenic photo op events would be fun. We just might find a more scenic parking lot to gather in this year too. Your cheer leading skills are absolutely welcome to round up the troops and make things happen. No pressure. Who knows? I could even have a car before the BBQ/Fate of the Furious event April 16th. |

Hi all, new member from the Ottawa valley.
Car's not out yet, I usually wait until the majority of the salt is off the road, maybe on the upcoming long weekend :-) I'd be interested in some summer/fall day cruises. |

welcome to the forum. what town are you in?
Also, I bet Ken took the day off today to watch the rain wash away the salt. Me thinks I will be seeing a blue FRS in the Barrhaven area this weekend. |

Unfortunately, there are little to no alignment adjustments on the OEM suspension components. You can try Slick Auto, Nextmod, or Trackwerks for shops in Ottawa.

Thanks, I'm in Carleton Place. Came out here from Vancouver in 2000 for hightech. Work in the Riverside/Hunt Club area so my spring/summer/fall commutes are a generally fun :-)

So I am getting my tires swapped out and I am looking at a brand new BRZ of darker color. Me thinks it belongs to forum member. What a beauty. Congrats. Laughing at the fact the plastic wheel protection is still on the car. As a side note. Love Andres new red manifold.

Lol. Hands off the manifold. The cat is out of the bag. After crashing in January, I looked around and thought about what to get next. Decided I was not done with the BRZ and ordered another - this car is fantastic. After a long trip across the country from Vancouver with a pause in TO, it arrived and was ready for pick-up Wednesday. I can appreciate what you guys go through when putting the car under wraps for the winter. Huge smile when the seats wrapped around me and it fired up for the first time. The 13km trip to Andre's was stretched out in slow traffic. It's dropped off for new Contis on the summer rims along with clear film on the front and Opticoat. The factory wrap was left on to save the prep for the experts! Would have been great to have it for the movie Friday but TLC for the paint will have to delay the big reveal. Hey guys!
I'm in the process of organizing something for us. I feel like our group isn't as tight as it once was though. I want to know if you would prefer it be an FT86 Ottawa exclusive event, or if you'd like to have others join us? I asked this on the facebook group and everybody made a big joke about it, and honestly made me want to give up. I'm already a few hours into planning this, and I just want to make the best event possible.

Sorry to hear about your accident, glad to know you are doing well...
I saw on Facebook what a great job Slick has done on the Opticoat, no free dealership swirls.. Congrats on your new ride! Quote:
