FYI - my kit is up for sale in classifieds. Version 1.5 dump but I have the latest batteries. Only thing that doesn't work is voltage readout which can be replaced cheaply. The on/off switch works though if you care.

I dont know Stevo, but there shouldnt be too much to worry about, with buying a used kit.
I have now owned 3 of these (yes i have commitment issues) 1 new from Shiv way back when. And then 2 other used ones.

If you really want one, I dont see too much risk in a used one. The system is quite simple and straightforward. Not to mention the community here gives great support, despite the fact that Rob's obscurity has almost turned him into "The Man in the High Castle"
Yes, I mean that as a joke not with any malice.

But still if you want cheap, easy power the ESC is a great way to do it. I dont know how you all are waiting 2 years, I couldn't do it.
