Whatever. They were ready for the bin anyway...
I'm abit amazed that the top outer ring of your disc doesn't have a lip on it

Not sure what you mean?
It has a wear lip 1.5-1.8mm high - see pic with the ruler.

To early to say - I haven't burnt them in yet.
But they feel good so far.

BTW, the blackness is paint.
Comes off quickly and then looks like any other disk

Cool, yeah figured as much. Same as the GT ones but black instead of grey.

Yes.

I've got the Vari 8 pots with 2 piece rotors.
They use an AP Racing pad shape which means you could get full race pads for them...at great expense of course.

You know that feeling you get when you're sleeping and it feels like you've fallen off the bed? That was actually just me doing an emergency stop.

There's a power brake BBK kit too, dunno how it compares in price/performance with sav's vary option though. But it's a good name to keep in the mix maybe?

They're also good, but also sneaky when it comes to comparing prices - make sure the same things are included in the kit.
-6 or 8 pot calipers
-Mounting adapters for the 86
-2 piece disks, 330mm(to fit 17" wheels)
-Brake pads
-Braided lines

Yip, you need to go to 18" rims if you want to have rear kit included from them.

Why? 330km kit front, 300-330mm kit rear.

That's what they told me, they don't have a kit to fit the 17s at the rear.

Told me the exact opposite... said 1 main design criteria was keeping the std wheels. Perhaps worth clarifying with them?!
