I'm not a fan of the new front end either. If I ever trade in, I'll be going for the BRZ next time for sure. The entire design just seems way better than the 86.

Eh, it looks better in person. Even looks decent on certain colors. Others it still looks wierd imo. That 2017 BRZ bumper though

My son has a '14 FRS and I prefer it to the newer 86.....one more reason when we buy one, it will probably be a BRZ.

Better looking both inside and out than the 2017 86.

Works for me.

Well I don't like the fact they've softened the ride, also made them quieter, both cars.

God, what will 2018 bring ?
I'm no expert, but the stock 86 is happy in situations where my stock FR-S was on the edge. "Better" is subjective, I guess, and the because racecar crowd will only have the stock suspension for a matter of minutes anyway. As far a quieter, more of that, please.

Its very much like what Honda has done in the last 2-3 years, with the Civic / Accord front end, giving it a smiley face …then releasing the NSX with that front face que (not sure which car was designed first on paper …may have been the NSX). Then they all sort of go together….like one big happy family. It makes it so that the person buying a $19k Civic , subliminally helps them with the buying decision in that it sorta…kinda …"looks" like a NSX from the front end. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I actually like the new 86 after seeing it in person. IDK it took awhile but it grew on me. If I were to buy one today it would be an 86 over the BRZ.

It does look better in person (still not good, but better). The new BRZ looks spectacular though...
