Driven up the cost of genuine parts?
If anything, replicas should have made manufacturers want to drop their prices down or at least made it more competitively priced. The cost of R&D for the manufacturer is not directly proportional to the number of replica kits sold.

But hey brother whatever works for you. You sound like the type of guy to buy an 80 dollar t shirt because it has a special brand on it while its sourced from the same place that makes fruit of the loom.

Here is the inconvenient truth about body kits.
All body kits will require some sort of work to fit correctly.

With replicas it usually is more work, with authentic high dollar stuff it is usually less.

you should buy a lotto ticket next time you buy aero.

I bought Origin from japan and got wavy fenders.
Bought Charge speed front bumper that had a crack in it, also from Japan.

Bought knock off Nismo 270R front bumper, side skirts and wing for my 240sx and they were perfect out the box.
Bought knock off Vertex Kouki front sides and rears fit perfect.

Bought Vertex wide body fenders and they fit perfect.

Saying knock off will always fit bad while authentic will always fit perfectly is just not true.

You are more likely to have a better fit with authentic, but sometimes you gotta do a little work for authentic to fit perfectly. Especially so when you mix and match brands.

Nah, you didn't see the shipping container and how well it was set up.

When its a 7-8 month wait from Japan i'll gladly just fix it. Its fucking fiberglass. People should stop being ****s about it.

I see people complaining you get crappy fitment from a replica when the authentic is just as bad. The best part is some of these replica makers fix the fitment issues and make a mold of that and it matches better.

To the guy with the pursue situation: fantastic. I'm glad to see you're willing to spend hundreds on a pursue for your girl for something she'll wear for a few months. Go to turkey, they make some of the best knockoffs and there's professionals back in the states that can't tell the differences. But hey, waste your money how you want to, we'll waste our money how we want to.
Great points

I love the free marketplace. As a recent business owner and marketing major it doesn't take long to realize how big business takes the regular every day consumers for total suckers and sell inferior goods at premium prices.
Beats by Dre is a good example.

You've been making my points for me this whole thread.

Perfect example of the sheep mind demographic big marketing firms rely so heavily on.
