Whiteline KCA416 ?? 16 or 14mm

I thought we needed 14mm for thw whiteline camber bolts. Frmotorsports.com part number is for 16mm

Which is it we need!?

Seriously? If you already know the answer then why are you asking a question? If there is a thread with answers, chances are you're going to get the same answers again.

You need to read the context of what you're looking at better. Are the people that are suggesting a 14mm bolt talking about a lobed bolt (like the whiteline), or a solid one (like the factory crash bolts)?

Next time you have a question, re-read the information that's already in front of you. I'd be willing to bet that you already have everything you need to know in front of you, you just need to understand what you're reading.

Why do you need to coach me. What does it matter what type of bolt they were talking about.

You can ramble for 30 sentances but you cant just say "14 or 16"

I read conflicting opinions and part numbers. Just wanted a straight simple answer. Thanks though

Yah i boughtem this morning. Just on a couple sites 14mm whitelines. Kca414. Said tey fit on frs. And when i googles 14 or 16mm camber bolt frs. There was a few discusions about it. With people sayine one or the other.

I wanted to order it asap this morning and just needed a straight answer

You're not hearing conflicting opinions, you're hearing different options. There's a subtle, but very important difference.

A 16mm lobed bolt is one option, the other is a 14mm solid bolt. THAT's why what kind of bolt they're talking about matters. Context matters, A LOT.

If you spent half as much time actually reading and comprehending the information already available as you do making a post for every single question you wouldn't need to be asking so many questions (or end up arguing with people trying to help you).

Literally every question you've asked has already been answered on here already, or is information easily available with a quick google search.

Actually, although you are correct about the 14mm solid/"crash bolt", I think what is being discussed are the lobed bolts, and whether you need a 14mm or a 16mm lobed bolt.

If you want to adjust camber, the most common way is to use either a 14mm crash bolt in the upper hole or a 16mm lobed bolt in the top hole as you suggest.

It is also possible to use a 14mm lobed bolt in the lower hole and retain the 16mm stock bolt in the upper hole. Unless you have unusual circumstances, you do not want to use the 14mm lobed bolt in the upper hole.

For the maximum adjustment you can use the 14mm lobed bolt in the lower hole and either the 16mm lobed bolt OR the 14mm crash bolt in the upper hole. I do not recommend using the 14mm lobed bolt in the upper hole if you are also using one in the lower hole. The reason being that the 14mm lobed bolt is not as strong/durable as the 14mm solid bolt.

Generally it is not recommended to use both the upper and lower holes for adjusting camber unless it is a track car with regular inspections.

The reason you have conflicting input on 14mm vs 16mm lobed bolts is that some people prefer using the lower hole to adjust camber for technical reasons beyond this discussion. Either hole will work.

And that's exactly why I asked if the other thread he was talking about was talking about solid or lobed. Without knowing the context you can't get a good answer.
