Hey, I finally joined the club and install the C38 on my BRZ, but ran into a small issue.

For those who have the C38 and fog lights, did you have issues with the tube on the driver side of the intercooler?
No matter how I positioned it, the tube ended up in contact with the fog light area of the bumper and now I have the dreaded bumper gap. Any tips on how to position it?

I had wondered the same so I went on YouTube and found an install video for the P3 vent gauge ... it was an hour long and the guy was swearing the whole time haha. After that and knowing my own (lack of) skill and patience I decided to leave it to the pros LOL.

I saved myself the grief and ordered the Ptuning washer fluid reservoir. Now there's plenty of room.

Thanks! This morning when I was thinking about it and doing research, it looks like other people have deleted the washer fluid reservoir. Then I remembered the pipe hitting the reservoir.

I think I will go the Ptuning route. Will do a google search. Hopefully it'll take care of the gap. Thanks!

Oh one more thing. In the instructions Page 6, step 11, it said to
"Reroute the valve cover hose from the passenger side of the A/C compressor to the driver side. Route the hose below the A/C
compressor and behind the oil filter and the oil filler neck."

I actually unbolted the A/C compressor and routed it underneath the compressor and bolted the A/C compressor on top of the hose.
This results in a severe 90 degree bend in the hose, although air was still able to flow through it when I blew air into it.

Did I do this step wrong?
When i tried to route the hose around the rear mounting bolt of the a/c compressor, it didn't seem like there was enough hose to bring it around the oil filler neck like in the picture.

There is enough hose to do it, when you pull it through.

If the air can freely flow through the hose, then your alternate routing is okay.

@SoCalArgento it's actually not too bad. You pop off the vent and swap yours with the gauge. The rest of it is just plugging into the obd port and the green wire to your parking lights. I'm sure there is a thread on installing it somewhere which is probably what I used to do it.

I already have a hunch on which video you saw. I'll tell you this: ALL of his install videos are like that.

I think it's definitely easier if you buy the replacement vent pod from P3cars with the gauge already installed in it. The tricky part seems to be taking apart your own vent pod if you didn't buy the replacement, I could see myself using too much force and breaking some plastic bits if you're not careful. That kind of thing happens to me whenever I work on cars...

Congratulations on your JR system!

If you adjust the tube and hose correctly, you will clear everything in the front end. It is tight, but the bumper will fit properly.

I bought mine used without the whole replacement pods. Just went slow and was careful. I've been taking things apart for a long time though so maybe I'm just a bit adept at it :P

Is this the kit to get for a car that sees regular track use? My biggest worry is the heat problems with forced induction and I keep coming back to this kit.
