Is there a way to make the OFT boot to the real time data display? I want to use it as a gauge, but don't want to have to navigate to that menu every time.

OFT350 has its own exhaust manifold.

You could just leave it plugged in with the ignition off while in the gauge screen and it will start up displaying the same screen upon restart of the ignition, but it will drain the battery.

Manually updating template file was the answer. Found that out shortly after posting this question from one of your other posts. Thanks for the help!

Also, saw an older thread recommending MAF scaling with a Grimmspeed CAI, and some newer comments saying it would be fine without. Thoughts?

I just got my new OFT directly from the site and I can't marry it to the car. It says "Choose your car" and only gives me the option of a mazda mx5. Is there something that I just missed completely..?

I have a 2016 brz hyperblue. Never been flashed/tuned.

download from here

grimspeed cai is very close to stock maf scaling you should be fine.

many other cai are not and require maf scaling.

Been running OFT for close to 3 years and it has been good.

However, it has come to a point where it's next to impossible to do any kind of logging without the car throwing a CEL and U0073 code.

It could be any of these 3 things going bad: The OBDII port, the cable, or the OFT unit. I am hoping it's the cable.

So anyone have a similar experience and/or any suggestions? Is the cable a generic one that I can buy somewhere?
