Wyoming is beautiful...
I couldn't find any local Wyoming threads (not sure who exactly owns one out there) but just wanted to say that you guys have a gorgeous state out there.
Took my car out on a 3-day roadtrip to/from Jackson WY (from Los Angeles), and it's easily one of the most gorgeous drives I've ever done. It's got a bit of everything (desert, canyon driving in the Virgin River Gorge, big plains in Utah, majestic views in Provo Canyon, mountains in Wyoming, rolling hills in Idaho), but nothing beats the Grand Tetons. Will be back to visit again! -alex |

It's funny you guys say that because I live in Wyoming currently and I'm from Colorado and always thought this state was very ugly. I'd only ever seen Cheyenne, Gillette and some other eastern parts of the state where it's all just a bunch of flat plains. I recently took a trip up to the Big Horns and now think it's actually not bad at all! Great picture above btw!

I took a ride through Wyoming a couple of weeks ago- amazing how much "nothing" there is in some parts out there.
Came across a rifle range in the middle of nowhere- steel gong targets at up to a mile. It was awesome. |
