I thought they all had the under body panels (in the US anyway) and it was the spoiler that brought it down to .27.

I might be wrong but I think the Series.Blue was one of the few 86s that came with the underbody panels in the North America. Most cars came without them.

Got one at our dealership.

With all the updates the M/T models got, can't believe it still cheaper than the A/T which got nothing new.

Those Ted multi spokes aren't so bad they're from the RS. But anyways nice to see there's two options on Toyota.

New member here. I've been trying to find a standard transmission, blue 2017 86, and apparently they either don't exist yet, or no dealer in CT is willing/able to locate one. Even called Toyota, and they just referred me to my local dealer.

Anyone in the northeast know of a dealer that has one on the lot?

Can't your dealer order you one?

2 of my local Toyota dealers have 86s on their lot. One has an asphalt and another one has a silver and asphalt. I'm going this Friday to check it out in person and inquire about also getting an Oceanic one myself.

Not according to them. First step, they try to sell me a 2016.

Second step, they tell me no one anywhere has any of the 2017's, nowhere no way no how, they just don't exist yet anywhere.

Third step, they miraculously find out that some dealers in another state have 2017's, but they won't let them go, so they don't know when they can get one, and hey, how about this 2016 Scion FRS?

I've got a dealer in PA(three hours away) who says they have one coming any day, they won't sell it to my local dealers, but they will sell it to me. They are supposed to let me know when it gets there. I'm skeptical, because they told the CT dealer(s) that they have it sold...before I contacted them directly. I half expect a call in a week saying "hey sorry that 2017 sold...but how about this 2016 Scion?"

what is really so different from pre-facelift one? The tail lights are better integrated and have a more unique look, the front bumper looks fresh and gives it a FT1-ish nose, the fender garnish can be swapped out and the LCD display looks pretty neat and also nicely integrated. I saw the car in person at the 86fest several weeks ago and I certainly wouldn't mind swapping my FRS out for one (though I think I'll be a good boy and save my money for the FT1). My only gripes are losing the detached turn signal indicator since it is now inside the headlight housing like the BRZ and having steering wheel controls.

They do runs of colors when they make the cars, they blues are probably being made now.

I don't think the refresh is that bad, there are elements I like. You see people hate on it so everyone hates on it, I wonder how many people just hate it because they just generally don't like it or is a bandwagon thing? If they did not do enough people would hate, sometimes you cant win. Its not perfect but its a very nice car for the money, and I have to think Toyota created this new look with purpose.

Interesting, thanks. I guess since no one seems to have seen a blue one in person, this makes sense.

Although that seems reasonable and would seem to make sense they do not generally run cars in colour batches. Nobody has in decades.
