Anxiety disorders are just the disorders I bring out in mixed company . Many worse behind those!

Still work some with CBT. For me, Lorazepam has less kick than a Tic-Tac, even in large doses.

Klonopin, in large doses (much larger than script), cuts the edge off a full panic attack, but just the edge.

I've tried all of the benzo's, and just a train of various other anti-seizures, anti-everything. Medications of any type have a lot of trouble working on me, plus having been on benzo's so long, they've lost a lot of their abilities, especially when I haven't taken as prescribed. Mia Culpa

What sucks worse than having friends that suck who happen to like cars, is having no friends at all. That's not a fun position to be in. I hide in my cave, so this autocross thing is a big friggin' deal to me to get out amongst the living, and do something to make myself remember I'm actually still alive!

All my friends with that much anxiety are vaping weed. Me? I drink so little, one beer can usually get me buzzed, and one lorazepam zonks me good. I can feel the aftereffects of a single benadryl for at least a day. Sounds like you're not in the best place. I'm sure there are some people on the board who are in your area and would be happy to walk you through the experience. Better yet, you can just go to the event and watch for a day. See if it's what you want.

I have decided, at least for a while, to stop going to HPDE. Too stressful.

HPDE is another one I want to try, just to see what it's like. Motorcycle racing is so different I think. Also, I desperately want to go to DirtFish!

Those are the moments of light. Right now it's very dark though, and I don't think I'm going to be leaving the house for days. Why? Who the fuck knows, just happened...again.

So probably no autox for me this weekend.
