Does the AC send anyone else's IAT way up?
Maybe it's because I have a SRI, but when my AC is on my IAT goes way up. I don't see why there would be a correlation but I watch IAT using Torque Pro.
Anyone else? |

Ummmm because the AC dumps heat into the engine bay?
The AC radiator is attached right to the engine radiator. Any heat removed from the car via AC goes straight into the engine and the engine bay. I once had a big argument over this on this forum and someone wanted to lecture me about thermodynamics and how AC works. Silly Rabbit..... |

Stock intake, drop in panel filter, tune.
It'll make as much power as before you put on a hot air intake and resolve your iat issue.

Then where do you believe that the heats goes after it gets dumped out of the AC radiator that is attached to the engine coolant radiator?
DO you have an AC unit on your house? When it is running and blowing cold air off of the 'evaporator' into your house, is the 'condensor' outside cold or hot?
