Depends! What turbo? What type of fuel ? What intercooler? Twin scroll? Upgraded injectors? Upgraded fuel pump? Which tuner? What size exhaust? Stock internals? Built motor? What compression? Many questions to take into consideration when asking that question. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

is there any other advantages with the new kit other than not having to trim?
are there any advantages and disadvantages between the trim kit and no trim kit? I would expect the trim option with the shorter intercooler pipes would be a better option performance wise?

Update on my install:
So my friend who is going to help me with the install unfortunately ended up getting a DUI and having to serve 60 days, this happened the week before we had planned to get started . I've started on some of the little things...threw on some exhaust I picked up (tsudo op/berk hfc) and I wrapped the manifold and downpipe. I don't feel comfortable trying to tackle the bulk of the install on my own so I will be patient and wait for my buddy to get off of vacation. Needless to say I've been biting my nails like a child waiting for Christmas morning...patience is a virtue they say In the meantime I've picked up a few more items....Forester XT oil cooler, some DEI gold foil and a got a sweet deal on JDL's fan shroud on the classifieds page. |
